Because there is so much fun.

I have loved film from around 2005 when I was experimenting with different looks and styles of photography and I fell in love with the vintage look of film and the different color palettes you can get with all the unique types of film.

I was a wedding photojournalist in Koh Samui, Phuket and Krabi, Thailand in 2013.

In 2016 I decided to start bringing along my film camera equipment to some of my weddings and test it out and I’m so excited to share these film images with you from various weddings that I’ve worked on since then. I really love how films have a different feeling to digital images, there’s more texture, different tones and the “feeling” and mood is always unique.

I shoot film on my Canon Eos-1N from Japan which uses Canon lenses.

Film also only has 36 shots per roll and nice film grain. It’s more special than a digital camera then this is the reason that I love it.

I love the classic film Fuji PRO 400H, Kodak PORTRA 400, Fuji PRO 800Z, Kodak ULTRAMAX 400 and Kodak ColorPlus 400.
